Uttarabodhi Mudra can be used when you feel mentally and physically flushed out. A long day at office, a whole day reading for examinations or whatever activity that demanded your energy.

Uttarabodhi Mudra removes listlessness, lets you overcome stage fright or examination fear, helps you relax your nerves and muscles. This mudra recharges your body batteries.

Uttarabodhi Mudra can be done for any duration. It can be done while standing lying or sitting.

Place the respective index fingers and thumbs as indicated. Point your index fingers upward and your thumbs downwards. The other fingers will remain interlocked. The position of the hands should be in front of Solar Plexus (a little above navel).

Repeat the following in mind while practicing this mudra: “I am relaxed, my nerves are loosened, I am floating, and energy is filling my body”.
