Few of the symptoms which are seen are - weight loss, hair loss, sweating, heat intolerance, infertility, dry hair, constipation, fatigue, memory loss, muscle aches.

Yoga therapy can be used as an effective supplementary treatment to manage thyroid imbalance.

One should consult a physician before you start practicing yoga as it is important to check which kind of thyroid you are suffering from. Also, these yoga techniques work on coping with the symptoms better and are not a substitute to medication (though in some cases the need for medicines may reduce with consistent yoga practice over a period of time).
